These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases from Rocket Hardware Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By placing an order, you (“you” or “the customer”) agree to these terms. We may update these terms at any time and recommend checking them before each order.

We aim to keep our website available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. You are responsible for ensuring you and any others accessing the site via your connection comply with these Terms.

All content on our website—including images, text, and videos—is owned by or licensed to Rocket Hardware Ltd. You must not reproduce, distribute, or alter this content without our written permission.

4. Product Information

We strive to ensure all product descriptions are accurate. However:

  • We reserve the right to correct errors and update listings at any time.

5. Orders

Orders are placed by completing the checkout process on our website. Orders are not confirmed until we validate payment and send you an order confirmation.

Age Restriction

You must be 18 or older to place an order. Orders by underage persons may be cancelled.

6. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are in NZD and include GST unless stated otherwise.
  • We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, PayPal, and Laybuy.
  • Prices may change without notice and are not bound by third-party listings.
  • Promotional codes and vouchers must be applied at checkout and follow specific terms.

7. Availability and Backorders

Stock levels are subject to change. Orders are only secured once payment is confirmed. If an item is unavailable:

  • We will contact you to amend, cancel, or backorder.
  • Backordered items are shipped at our cost once in stock.

8. Returns and Refunds

8.1 Change of Mind

Returns for change of mind are accepted within 14 days, provided the item is unused and in original packaging. Return shipping is at your cost.

8.2 Faulty or Incorrect Items

Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund for faulty or misrepresented products. Contact us immediately with proof of purchase.

9. International Orders

  • GST is removed for international orders.
  • You are responsible for customs duties and import taxes.
  • Orders outside New Zealand may not meet local compliance requirements and are at your own risk.
  • Backordered international items may be shipped separately and incur further duties.

10. Promotions, Gift Cards & Store Credit

10.1 Promo Codes

  • One code per order unless stated otherwise.
  • Not applicable to shipping, gift cards, or already discounted items.
  • Cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Misuse may result in cancellation of codes or orders.

10.2 Gift Cards

  • Valid for 3 years.
  • Non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Can be used on all items except for new gift card purchases.

10.3 Store Credit

  • Valid for 3 years.
  • Non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Remaining credit can be used on future purchases.

11. Special Offers

Special discounts may be offered periodically. These:

  • Are subject to specific conditions.
  • Cannot be applied retrospectively.
  • May exclude certain items like backorders or gift cards.
  • Apply after the subtotal is calculated (e.g., free shipping for orders over $1000 after discounts).

12. Proof of Purchase

Returns, refunds, or warranty claims must be accompanied by one of the following:

  • Tax invoice
  • Bank or credit card statement
